What type of incentive will I receive for using a referred agent to sell my current home or purchase my new home?

| Depending upon the state in which the transaction is taking place your incentive may be a cash incentive, gift certificate or credit against your closing expenses received at closing. Although incentives are prohibited in some states (AL,AK,IA,LA,MO,MS,NH,NJ,OK,OR,TN), you are still eligible to receive real estate services in those states.

What is the value of my incentive?

Use a MovePal referred agent to sell your home and to purchase your new home and earn TWO incentives! Note: Your incentive, while not a part of your real estate transaction, is based on the sale price and real estate commission paid in your transaction. It is subject to change based on those details. |
When will I receive my incentive?

| If you are eligible for a cash or gift incentive you will receive it within 3 weeks of MovePal's receipt of the associated referral fee, which is sent to MovePal after your closing. If you are eligible for a credit at closing you will receive the credit at time of closing on your HUD closing statement.

Will I receive any incentives for using other service providers mentioned on this site?

| By visiting the service provider sites you will find discounts and/or specials being offered from time to time.

What are the qualifications of the agent who is referred to me?
|
| Your MovePal Counselor qualifies agents based on their number of years of experience (a minimum of 3 years experience is preferred) their experience in working with buyers who are new to their area, their status of being a full-time agent, and their membership in the local multiple listing service. Your MovePal Counselor also references their database for the quality of service provided by an agent in the past before making its final selection for you. |
When will I be contacted by MovePal's referred agent?

| You will be contacted by your selected agent within 24 hours of your MovePal Counselor's receipt of your request for a real estate agent. |
What if I am not happy with the agent who is referred to me?

| If for any reason you are not satisfied with the agent that your MovePal Counselor selected for you, call your MovePal Counselor for the name of another qualified agent. |
May I select my own agent and still receive MovePal's counseling services and incentive?

| You may provide the name of a preferred agent to your MovePal Counselor. If you have not signed a contract with the agent and the agent agrees to pay the requested referral fee to MovePal, you may select your own agent and still receive the services and incentive. |
What if I am already working with an agent?

| If you have signed a contract with an agent you are not eligible to receive MovePal counseling services and incentive. |
May I decide not to continue in this program at any time?

| You are under no obligation to continue using the MovePal services unless you have signed a listing or purchase agreement with an MovePal referred agent. |
